Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka is admittedly painfully shy and barely speaks above a whisper during most of her interviews and press conferences.
But something about Kendrick Lamar’s heat-seeking diss track “Not Like Us” ignites a fire within Osaka, and she plays the song when she walks onto the court for her matches.
The 26-year-old four-time Grand Slam winner, who incidentally is dating rapper Cordae, declared K. Dot the winner in the clash of the rap titans over Drake.
“Kendrick dropped some heat,” Osaka said, according to Complex magazine “That last song is amazing, and I played it while walking onto the court.”

Osaka exemplified a walking contradiction when she said she is a “pacifist” and a “neutral party” while observing the Drake-Lamar war on wax. Yet, she sheepishly responded positively when a reporter asked if Lamar should drop another diss track.
“Yeah. Sorry,” Osaka smiled, her face flush with embarrassment.

Naomi Osaka said Kendrick Lamar should drop another diss song … or 2
Osaka, who counts Venus Williams and Coco Gauff among her marquee court rivals, calculated the contest so far and said K. Dot can and should unfurl another track or two to make things even.
“Technically, Kendrick dropped that song, then Drake dropped ‘The Heart Part 6,’ so technically Kendrick could drop another two if he wanted to,” she justified.
