Safe to say Drake has a lot to deal with at the moment and he’s hoping Toronto news channel CP24 can help him out by letting him get some sleep.
The “Started From The Bottom” artist took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 11 to tag the station in a message about their news helicopter repeatedly flying over his house and keeping him awake.
“@cp24breaking news can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie I’m trying to sleep,” Drizzy wrote. “Anytime after 3pm works great for me.”
More than likely, the constant presence of the news chopper is in relation to three separate trespassing incidents at the massive Toronto compound in as many days.
In the wee hours of May 7, a security guard was left with serious injuries after a shooting near the estate. The next day, security guards caught a man attempting to trespass on the property saying “the person was apprehended under the mental health act,” and on the following day, May 9, yet another trespassing attempt was made with the offender getting into a fight with security before police arrived and needing to be taken to the hospital.
Though there has been no proven connections, speculation is running rampant amongst fans as to whether these string of security issues at Drake’s home are related to his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar.
The Compton rapper has suggested the OVO boss and his crew use Drizzy’s compound for illegal sexual activity with underage girls and his latest diss song, “Not Like Us”, features cover art of a satellite image of the estate with several red markers similar to those used on a sex offender app.
Drake has denied all accusations of sexual impropriety with minors and spoke directly to the matter on his latest release, “The Heart Part 6.”
