Hip-hop fans are confused — even as they laugh heartily — while 50 Cent heavily criticized King Combs for dropping a “weak” diss track aimed at the G-Unit boss.
“Why do people even attempt to start a war with this man 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣?” a female fan’s social media post crystallized many other’s sentiments.
“Who beefs with 50??? Like why😂😂?” a male fan said.
This is because 50 — born Curtis Jackson — has a well-deserved reputation as the nation’s most prolific and ruthless troll.
“Now why would you say some s— like this 🤦when you know the FEDS are investigating? IS YOU STUPID OR IS YOU DUMB? LOL @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi,” the rapper wrote in a post on May 13 — to the surprise of no one.
50 Cent is responding to Comb’s diss the day before
The day before, Combs released an unnamed track about his father Sean “Diddy” Combs’ enemies like 50 Cent, as well as the folks who turned their backs on Sean after he helped them break into the business.
“I dare one of you n—-s scream out ‘no diddy’” Combs raps, referencing the viral meme. “Police raid the crib like they think we selling crack, but we out here selling tracks / multimillion dollar plaques.”
“When all they had was 50 Cent who put the city on the map?/ Stop lying, pops been hated on by many men and n—-, that’s fine/ They gon’ try to stop these Eminems and they gon’ die trying,’” King continues, going directly after 50.
The problem is that the majority of music listeners characterized the Combs diss track as “trash,” which means that he swung at 50 with a weak punch. This prompted 50 to respond — and soon after that, his fans joined in on the pummeling.
Fans feel bad for King knowing 50’s predilection for vicious clapbacks
“😂😂😂 He’s not a street dude, poor tink tink didn’t know any better!,” one fan said about Combs in the comments section under 50’s post.
“Silver spoon kid trying to beef with an old school street dude turned businessman — this generation lost,” a second person added.
