‘Stop it’: Lil Tony confirms he is not in critical condition

Lil Tony is okay. The 19-year-old Atlanta artist, also known as Lil Tony Official, was the center of an online rumor that he was hit in the Buckhead shooting at the Elleven45 Lounge that left Mari Creighton, a 21-year-old volleyball athlete at Albany State University, dead.

Online blogs reported that the “Money Music” rapper was in critical condition. Tony re-posted one of the blogs on his Instagram account, denying the shocking headline.

Tony responded simply: “Stop it,” followed by a laughing emoji. Members of Tony’s family apparently went on an Instagram story and said Tony was “OK.”

“Tony is OK and stable,” the statement read. “I don’t know where these other rumors from YouTube videos and tweets are coming from! He’s not in critical condition. He’s healing. Just send prayers. Too much, ‘He said, she said’ is going on surrounding this situation.”

Another social media user with the name “Kenzie” on X, who Tony’s fans have claimed is the mother of his child, also shared her thoughts on the platform.

“You try to show a n— some sympathy ’cause he just got shot up six times, and that’s my child’s father, and he still shows his nasty character. Shaking my head!!!!” Kenzie posted. “You just almost died. Be humble. Go somewhere and pray that you’re alive…

“We hope you heal and your daughter loves you. I’m not going to argue on the internet with you again. I was concerned about you and was getting updates every day on how you were doing from YOUR family!!!”

Tony appeared to respond to Kenzie’s posts on what looks like to be his X account.

“Stop the shenanigans,” the account posted. “What’s up with the delusion in women now days?”

The account then promoted Tony’s upcoming release on May 24.
