Halle Berry’s upcoming new film, Never Let Go, finds the Oscar-award winning actress returning to the realm of horror and suspense a la previous films like The Call, Gothika, and The Rich Man’s Wife.
Directed by Alexandre Aja (Piranha 3D, The Hills Have Eyes), the film tells the story of a mother (Berry), along with her fraternal twin sons (Anthony B. Jenkins and Percy Daggs IV), who have relied upon their strong family bond to hide themselves for years from a malicious malevolent spirit. But when one of the boys begins to doubt the existence of the evil force they’ve spent their lives avoiding, he puts not only himself but his entire family in danger.
Starring alongside Berry, Daggs IV, and Jenkins in this harrowing tale of good versus evil will also be Candice Compton, Christin Park, Matthew Kevin Anderson, and Stephanie Lavigne.
Never Let Go will land in theaters on Sept. 27.
