Soulja Boy apologizes to Metro Boomin for messages about his late mother

Either Soulja Boy came to his senses, or somebody made a phone call because the rapper recently apologized to Metro Boomin for commenting about his late mother.


On May 15, Soulja Boy placed a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, apologizing to Metro Boomin.


All seemed well after the post, but Soulja Boy later made a video, calling out 21 Savage and Meek Mill.

“I ain’t apologize for you, I apologized for myself. I didn’t like what I said about that n—- momma, but yeah, 21 [Savage], you still a b—-. Meek Mill, n—– still playing in your bootyhole,” he said.

Earlier this week, Soulja Boy called out Metro Boomin for a tweet that he made 12 years ago that said “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.”

Soulja harassed Metro Boomin on Instagram Live and X, and also disrespected his mother, who was killed in 2o22. The rapper had a few words for 21 Savage as well.

“I’ll beat the f— out you @MetroBoomin and @21savage sign the boxing contract since u p—- n—– so tough,” he said.

“Happy Mother’s Day @MetroBoomin,” he wrote in one tweet, followed by “You sacrificed your own mom @MetroBoomin. You a puppet.”

“All the streams, sales, money and fame not gone bring your mom back @MetroBoomin. Was it worth it? I can say f— this money and fame s— and still be a boss can you?”
