Entertainment powerhouse 50 Cent continues to flex his artistic muscle as he stars alongside actor Mel Gibson in the upcoming serial killer mystery film, Boneyard.
Based on real-life crime stories, the film centers on authorities as they conduct a massive investigation in the New Mexico desert after the skeletal remains of nearly a dozen women are found. Police Chief Carter (50 Cent), along with Detective Ortega (Brian Van Holt) and Agent Petrovick (Mel Gibson), heads up a multi-agency task force to track down the killer. Though working together, the trio constantly bump heads with their varying agendas as a cloud of doubt makes all involved more and more suspicious of the other.
Directed by Asif Akbar, who also co-wrote the screen play with Hank Byrd, Koji Steven Sakai and Vincent E. McDaniel, the suspenseful murder thriller will also star Brian Van Holt, Gabrielle Haugh, Michael Sirow, Nora Zehetner, Spice Williams Crosby, and Weston Cage.
Boneyard will make its debut on both U.S. and Canadian VOD on July 2 before landing in select theaters across the U.S. on July 5.
