Soul crooner Jacquees and his girlfriend, Deion Sanders’ daughter Deiondra, celebrated the upcoming birth of their child during their gender reveal party in Atlanta.

Surrounded by family and friends, the 30-year-old Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax commandeered a makeshift TNT device and detonated it, revealing that the couple is expecting a baby boy.

Jacquees also captioned his post in all caps, saying “WE ARE HAVING A BABY BOY. THANK YOU JESUS. GOD IS GOOD,” he penned with praying and heart emojis.

Deiondra Sanders, meanwhile, has contemplated baby names but is leaving the bulk of the decision to the King of R&B album architect. She had uploaded the meticulous work undergone in preparation for this momentous soiree onto social media. She also spoke about the name they may adorn their son with.

“It’s only one name that he did mention that I actually really like, and it’s unisex,” Deiondra said in her YouTube video. “I said I was going to wait until I know the gender to start picking names. But the one that he did mention— I actually really like that.”

Deiondra’s famous father, who is known as “Prime Time” and “Coach Prime,” was not in attendance in Atlanta and was probably back in Boulder, Colorado, preparing to coach the Colorado Buffaloes in the upcoming season. He conveyed his love and support via FaceTime.

He did tell People magazine that he’s not completely ready to be a grandfather, but is excited nonetheless.

“I haven’t digested that whole thing yet,” he told the publication. “I’m proud of my baby that she’s at least waited until her 30s to give me this gift of life. I’m happy about that, but I want to make sure she’s straight emotionally and psychologically as well.”

Deiondra Sanders is in a state of nirvana

Deiondra Sanders, meanwhile, is floating around these days in a state of bliss. She is ecstatic knowing she can create a life when medical practitioners previously told her she couldn’t bear children.

“Even though this was not planned nor expected, this is still something God allowed to happen. I’m not having my baby to keep a man. I am having my baby for all the times I was told I wouldn’t be able to,” she wrote on her IG page in March.
