Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations are in peril after he was found guilty on all 34 felony charges related to falsifying business records as part of a plan to influence the 2016 presidential election.
Popular culture was shocked that Trump was found guilty on every count.
The presumptive Republican nominee is now the first former U.S. president ever to be criminally convicted at trial.
Trump, 77, will be sentenced on July 11.
NBC News reports that incarceration is not mandatory in this case. For each count, Trump could just be fined or receive a maximum sentence of up to 4 years.
“These charges are rigged,” Trump barked at reporters at the courthouse on Wednesday morning, reports NBC News.
Now that the jury decided in this trial, Trump has other legal entanglements to face: Trump has three other (two federal and one state) indictments pending, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
This calls into question whether the former president is fit to run for the highest office in the land.
This verdict happened in advance of two very important events. Biden and Trump will still hold a CNN presidential debate in Atlanta on June 27. Also, Trump is expected to announce his running mate during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, scheduled for July 15-18.

Really ! You Pray he’s the next President. You can’t read? He has been indicted of 34 counts and still couting other charges? He obvious he is not honest on all levels. This is what we want our children to follow n the foot steps of a person like that in the highest office of the land.
What is more American or especially from New York than a good person being bullied by some insecure ratt? This is what goes on all over the country! Teenage girls are evil to each other , I feel bad for Trump, can you imagine how a 12 year old girl or boy would feel. If you have a certain name or have been in trouble, then the police won’t investigate! I have seen many murders or attempted ones where there was no conviction cuz if you are known to be verbal, smart, sarcastic, confidently high, then none cares what happened you! I think I might have been able to kill my husband and gotten away with it because I was the lesser of the two evils! Anyway, I AM STILL VOTING FOR TRUMP BECAUSE it is scary to think that this could happen to anyone?! It takes an over planning, narcissist politician one second to know that they can ruin you!? GO TRUMP! SOMEONE HAS TO STAND UP TO THE BULLIES,! YOU CAN CALL ON ME TO STAND UP TO THE WOMEN AND I DO HAVE FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES!
