Grandmaster Flash says ‘ICE Medal of Honor’ is his most cherished award

Grandmaster Flash’s mantel is crowded with awards and plaques from around the world as the official co-founder of hip-hop. Yet,  Flash said the Black American Music Association’s ICE Medal of Honor is his most cherished award. Flash, the first rap act to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame along with the Furious Five, explains why he feels this way and if he believes hip-hop has gotten the respect it deserves.
