Halle Berry will carry the Olympic flame in France

Halle Berry will reportedly carry the Olympic flame in France.

The Monster’s Ball actress, 57, is expected to display the torch down the Croisette in Cannes, France, on Tuesday,  June 18, ahead of the Paris Games’ kicking off next week.

A source told Page Six Berry will “make her way through from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time,” with the famous French Riviera boulevard currently taken over by the Cannes Lions festival.

The insider added the event will be “shut down temporarily” for Berry’s torch run.

It comes as Berry has been campaigning for menopause awareness.

The actress made the statement in a press conference at Capitol Hill in Washington. D.C., on Thursday, June 13, where she was joined by a group of bipartisan senators to push for legislation that would put $275 million toward research and education around menopause.

“I’m in menopause, OK?” shouting about her menopausal status, Berry yelled during the gathering.

“The shame has to be taken out of menopause. We have to talk about this very normal part of our life that happens. Our doctors can’t even say the word to us, let alone walk us through the journey,” the mother of two added.

“My doctor had no knowledge and didn’t prepare me. That’s when I knew, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve got to use my platform.’ I have to use all of who I am and I have to start making a change and a difference for other women,” she added about going through the hormonal shift in a conversation with first lady Jill Biden, 73, at the Day of Unreasonable Conversation summit in Los Angeles in March.
